Diana Mae Leonhardt, 85, of Byron MN was called by her heavenly father and died on July 10, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Diana was born on March 6, 1939 in Winona, MN to Carl and Velma Clardy. She graduated from Winona High School and married James Leonhardt on July 11, 1959. She and Jim moved to Byron, MN where they raised their 4 sons. They moved to Rochester and after Jim's passing in 2016 Diana returned to Byron in 2022. She lived at Byron Madonna Summit.

Diana enjoyed her family, her faith, vacations to northern MN with her favorite Itasca State Park.

She is survived by her sons Randy of Kenyon, Mike (Dawn) of Mantorville, Dan (Maria-Renee) of St Peter, and Jeff of Byron; 3 grandchildren Chad (Jordan) Leonhardt, Chelsey (Bryan) Schroeder and Sophia Grigsby; and 3 great grandchildren Harlyn, Marshall and Reid.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim and sister Sonja.

Diana had a life-long faith in Jesus Christ. Her Christian spirit will be honored and memorialized at her funeral service on Monday July 15, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rochester, MN. The family will share a visitation at 10:00am followed by a service at 11:00am. A lunch will follow before procession and internment at Byron Cemetery.
