Galvin D. Uhlenhopp, "Hoppy" 94, of Kasson, MN, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025 at Prairie Meadows in Kasson.

Galvin was born April 1, 1930 in Dumont, IA to Eli and Thelma (Wickman) Uhlenhopp. He graduated in 1948 from Clarksville High School in Clarksville, IA. After high school, Galvin proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. On May 2, 1955, he was united in marriage to Mary Jeanne Almeter. Hoppy enjoyed riding motorcycle, fishing and spending time at their cabin on Woman Lake. Hoppy worked selling vehicles for both Clements and Postier & Eggers in Rochester, before going on to sell motorhomes in Loveland, Colorado for a total of 42 years before his retirement.

Hoppy was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jeanne. Hoppy and Mary Jeanne will be buried at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
