Mary Jeanne Uhlenhopp, 90, of Kasson, MN, passed away on February 12, 2025, at Prairie Meadows Senior Living in Kasson, MN. Born on February 11, 1935, in Rochester, MN, to John and Jane (Heaney) Almeter, Mary Jeanne lived a full and vibrant life.

Mary Jeanne was a 1952 graduate of Mazeppa High School. On May 2, 1955, she was united in marriage to Galvin "Hoppy" Uhlenhopp. Mary Jeanne was a small town girl and loved her little house in Mazeppa. She worked as an analyst for the FBI until her retirement, where she became known for her strong will, sharp wit, and no-nonsense approach. She loved playing cards with friends and cherished the time spent traveling with her husband, Hoppy. Above all, Mary Jeanne was thoughtful, always asking how others were doing and sharing a good laugh with those around her.

Mary Jeanne is survived by her beloved husband, Galvin "Hoppy" Uhlenhopp; numerous nieces and nephews in the Illinois area; her cousin, Jane of St. Paul; and many dear friends, including Lois Dorschner and Bob and Wendy Sellers. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Almeter.

A time of remembrance will be held from _______ until ________ on _____________, 2025, at Prairie Meadows Senior Living, 800 5 ^th Ave. NW, Kasson, MN 55944 with a prayer service beginning at ________. Burial will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mazeppa Area Historical Society Museum, 124 1 ^st Ave. S. Mazeppa, MN 55956.
