Melinda Kay
Alexander
Feb 13, 1967 — Jun 14, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Melinda Kay Alexander, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us on June 14, 2026, at the age of 59. Melinda was born on February 13, 1967, in Great Bend, Kansas, and raised in a loving family. She experienced life with a spirit of determination and compassion, traits she instilled in those around her.
Melinda was married to her cherished husband, Wyn Alexander, on October 17, 1987, in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and three wonderful children: Savoy and Thane Alexander, both of Rochester, and their daughter Ryann Alexander of Kenyon, Minnesota. Melinda's joy was multiplied by the arrival of her two grandchildren, Malak William Alexander and Elora Rose Peterson, who brought her endless delight.
In her professional life, as an Application System Analyst, Melinda dedicated herself to her career in the printing services industry, beginning her journey at Taylor Printing Services (Schmidt Printing) in 1997. Starting as an Assistant Folder Operator, she worked diligently to advance her career, balancing her ambitions with the joys of motherhood and family life, while going back to school to earn her Bachelors degree. Melinda’s work ethic, commitment, and respect earned her admiration from colleagues and friends alike.
Melinda’s passions extended beyond her professional life. She found great pleasure in gardening, solving Sudoku puzzles, visiting the gym, and engaging in online gaming. Above all, she cherished the moments spent with her family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Melinda is survived by her devoted husband Wyn, her mother Margaret Bieberle, her children Savoy (Channy Som), Thane and Ryann; her grandchildren Malak and Elora, and her siblings—Debbie (Steve) Stephens of Hoisington, Kansas; Mike (Kelly) Bieberle of Salina, Kansas; Terry (Kristy) Bieberle of El Dorado, Kansas; and Scott (Pam) Bieberle of Hoisington, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her father, Marvin Bieberle.
Her family will host a series of services to honor Melinda’s remarkable life. The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by her funeral at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Pete Wyttenbach officiating. The graveside service will follow and will take place at the Evergreen Cemetery in Mantorville, where Melinda will be laid to rest.
